Jack Dorsey Is Likely To Be Named As The New CEO Of Twitter

Jack Dorsey is so far the interim CEO of Twitter but might soon become the chief executive officer.

Twitter Inc

Dick Costolo, the chief executive officer of Twitter Inc. is all set to bid farewell to the company. According to sources, the CEO has decided to give his resignation. However, the question here arises, that who will be the Jack Dorsey Is Likely To Be Named As The New CEO Of Twitternext heir to Twitter after Mr. Costolo resigns.

The company has now made temporary arrangements where the Co-founder of Twitter and board member, Mr. Jack Dorsey has been awarded as the responsibility to become the “interim” CEO while the company finds a permanent solution to this problem.

However many believe that the interim title will soon  be taken away from Mr. Dorsey and he will become the next chief executive officer of the firm. The reason behind this rumor is that there are several ways how Mr. Dorsey can take over and take the company to newer heights.

Firstly, Mr. Dorsey himself is keen to take charge of the company and take it back to stability. When Mr. Dorsey, was asked about his interests in becoming the next CEO by Business Insider, he did not really say no but deflected from the peculiar question. He stated, "Again, I'm not going to answer that because it's not my focus, it's not what I'm thinking about; I have enough to focus on." However, the only problem in making him the CEO is that Mr. Dorsey is the current CEO of Square so it will be relatively tough for him to leave that position and take over Twitter. However, it is not really a bad bargain.

Secondly, it will be relatively hard from someone who is not a part of the company to take over and give it the same time and brains to reach its goal. However, Mr. Dorsey is already immune to the environment. He knows the loopholes, the positives and what can actually be done for the revival of the company making him the potential choice.

Moreover, the company’s performance is constantly staggering and revenues are declining too. So if someone new takes charge so they will take their own time to experiment which the social media network cannot afford at this point of time.

Business Insider also believes that “So, again, this brings us back to Dorsey as CEO as the only logical choice. He's a product-oriented founder. Dorsey will have the moral authority as the creator of Twitter to tweak it to make it more appealing to a broader audience.”

Thus the company will benefit from Mr. Dorsey takes charge and takes the company to where it belongs.
