Recently, the chief executive officer of Tesla Motors Inc. Mr. Elon Musk was struck in awe when one of his rockets belonging to SpaceX crashed into Cape Canaveral situated in Florida a few minutes after it launched.  The Allen & Co conference in Sun Valley is one of those events that is graced by technology titans, Media giants and billionaires but this year Mr. Elon Musk also attended the event for the first time all calm and ready to talk on the issue.

During the first interview since the explosion took, Mr. Musk only talked to CNBC where he explained that the failure was a major setback for SpaceX. At that point he did not wish to overplay on the shortcomings. The company at this point has joined forces to investigate on the crash. During the investigation period, SpaceX will not really experiment with further rocket launches.

“I think we need to understand exactly what went wrong and be very deliberate at it,” mentioned Mr. Musk.

The Falcon 9 by SpaceX was the 19th missile launched by the company that has various supplies and experiment on board that had to be sent to the International Space Station. This also carried missions and re-supply consignments which are targeted for the future.

“We need to look at the data and see if there were any near-misses,” he stated. “Could something else have gone wrong and what do we need to do to fix that. Our goal is to have the most reliable rocket ever because it’s going to be launching astronauts soon, so it needs to be super reliable.”

Despite the mishap, the popular National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will not stop supporting the organization and has vowed to advocate its commitment to the company. Moreover, Charles Bolden who is the administrator at SpaceX believes that this downfall will not really affect Musk or his team’s vision from excelling and offering top notch services in terms of space mission. According to him, the company needs to concentrate on spaceflight programs and gear up for the next rocket launch without being skeptic.

In a statement published by Mr. Bolden online at the official website of NASA, SpaceX has been exceptional in terms of its capabilities and they have the potential to actually implement their success trajectory. So all they need to do is evaluate what actually happened, then study what can be done to overcome such scenarios.

Hence, the electric giant CEO has faced the issue from the forefront and this failure will not rupture their growth.
