The site is almost 458 acres that will solely focus on facilities and utilities. The company has redesigned the supply chain network through which it will be able to manufacture Procter and Gamble products from different categories in the specific site area.

According to the governor of West Virginia, Earl Ray Tomblin when P&G chose West Virginia it was a historic day and this investment that P&G has made, represents one of the largest initial economic development projects in the state’s history. He further expressed gratitude towards the company by saying that they are grateful to the company for acknowledging the great potential in the State along with the powerful and talented work force and business climate.

At present, the Governor stated that the consumer goods company is working hard in collaboration with Technical College and Blue Ridge Community to train Virginia workers who will be the new employees at the new facility. They are working on providing them with the necessary skills required for success in the jobs that they will be offering. The company prefers people from mechanical, electrical, and programming backgrounds and manufacturing, production, equipment handling and machinery operations skills as well. Along with this, the company is also working on students at Technical College and Blue Ridge Community so that they can get jobs at P&G in the future; they are specifically conducting a training program for these students.
