Galaxy S6 Gets OS Upgrade To Marshmallow 6.0

Samsung brings the latest operating system upgrade for Galaxy S6, Marshmallow 6.0, in South Korea and UK.

Samsung has enhanced user experience for its famous and successful smartphone, Galaxy S6, by giving it the latest operating system upgrade of android, Marshmallow 6.0. The multinational electronics giant is testing this new software in the United Kingdom and South Korea for now.

The innovative electronics company is known for manufacturing the best smartphones in the world and has made huge sales of its manufactured Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. These two smartphones have been chosen for the test of the latest software in the two countries. They are going to be the first phones that will consist of Google’s latest android operating system software.

Samsung has never been afraid to take risks when it comes to achieving success and trying new things; the Galaxy maker is now seeking for beta testers for this latest android version and even the fresh version of TouchWiz. The only users that will have the chance to witness this latest android OS are going to be from South Korea or UK.

Samsung has taken this step of testing the beta version mainly because it has been receiving many complaints and problem in updates of the Lollipop version. This problem led to the delay and even suspending the updates for a while, upsetting the customers.

Marshmallow testing phase is a hope for the business in terms of quality. There is another limitation when it comes to receiving this latest OS, only two carriers are getting this update, KT and KGU, limiting the audience even more.

There are speculations that Galaxy Note 5 might be getting this update but it is still not confirmed. This action will provide the business insight on what the customers think about this OS and even suggestions to whether the company should move forward with this version or enhance it; or even go back to the bottom.

It seems that Samsung takes criticism, opinion, and views of its customers very seriously. This move is being made after users were unhappy with the lollipop upgrade; the organization is seeking to avoid such criticism in the future by taking the necessary measures.

Samsung is not the only company that is taking chances and running tests on its world known devices, as Motorola is following its footsteps as well. No announcements have been made as to whether this electronics giant will be releasing the upgrades in other parts of the world so far.

Samsung stock closed at $1025.00 on December 18.
