Buy Now Button Introduced By Twitter, Making It The Supreme Social Marketing Site

Twitter Inc

Twitter is introducing its 'buy now' button for users to connect as well as purchase now by partnering with shopify, BestBuy, Demandware, Bigcommerce.

Twitter Inc. has always been well aware of what its consumers are seeking. The ‘buy now’ button is now available on the twitter applications. E-commerce is a top priority for social networking sites, due to the profit it generates.

This function was, in fact, launched last year at a small scale where the giant corporation stated that they were just testing the feature. This is evidence that the test was a clear success for it to go massive and so mainstream. Many social media websites are generating profit through electronic marketing. This enormous company will now be a bigger threat to all of its competitors.

Social media advertising is not news to tech savvy users anymore. Twitter is always on its top game when it comes to advertising, tweeting, and retweeting. The transactional mobile commerce, where there are already millions of users, will definitely bring huge changes and the users who spend so much time tweeting about what they want to buy will actually be able to do on the same application. With direct and close connection to the consumer through this feature, it will be very easy for markets to get their clients from everywhere possible.

According to CNBC News, Nathan Hubbard, Twitter’s head of commerce, commented, “We think of Twitter as the world’s largest direct-to-consumer channel. We have been from the beginning working to try to make those conversations transactional while appropriate. Brands are building direct relationships with consumers and they are using platforms to build those direct relationships. What they don't always have is distribution.”

Users are always tweeting about what they want and what they need. Now they can act upon what they are tweeting by just a click of one button! The company has partnered with BigCommerce, BesBuy, Demadware, Shopify,Adidas and PacSun. These are some big platforms of e-commerce to start. It has been launched in many countries with Canada on pending.

It is evident that this corporation is willing to take huge risks and blur the lines by making one platform for ‘everything’. Not only is this evidence of the risks it is willing to take, but also the fact that the network is removing its famous 140 characters limit on the tweets according to some reports. This allows the users to tweet more freely without any restriction on character count. The market should be prepared for more surprises now as this social media planet is now making some notable changes.
